Continuing touring with Bump, but now with Curtis Fowlkes replacing Ray Anderson, Previte records a new CD while on tour on the US west coast. This is released by Palmetto in 2002 as “Counterclockwise,” perhaps the finest recorded statement in that band’s illustrious history. The Guardian UK advised listeners to “stand well back,” while Mac Two said, "Counterclockwise has that anti-social dissonance that has defined some of the best hip-hop. It's all about the buzz you get when music really crashes through your speakers, and I suppose the most important thing about Counterclockwise is that it has a tremendous sense of unapologetic, menacing weight."
