"Bump the Renaissance,” released in 1985, (Previte’s first international release, coming after the self-produced “Pull To Open”) featured french horn, piano, bass, drums, strong soloing from ex-Tower of Power tenor saxophonist Lenny Pickett (now the Saturday Night Live bandleader), and “nine new tunes of striking originality," as Newsweek reviewed it at the time. A classic early Previte, you can hear the wheels turning, coming towards the next stop. "Bump The Renaissance"
