Still
owing Gramavison a recording, Previte joined forces again with his Empty
Suits band and recorded a work that was so different from the previous
Empty Suits record (big surprise) that Gramavision refused to release
it. This prompted his departure from the label. Eventually coming out
in 1994 on DIW/Japan, “Slay the Suitors,” (title courtesy
of a chapter in Homer’s “Odyssey”) is in many ways
his “underground” record, perhaps the most obscure of them
all, if you don’t count “Pull To Open.” A hazy, sometimes
quiet, very electronic outing (confirming Previte’s fascination
with electronic music in earnest) this CD is imported and extremely
rare. "Slay The Suitors"
